Night Sky Stargazing Tours
What to Expect
Welcome to “A Cosmic Adventure” night sky tours where each stargazing event is custom tailored to meet your needs. The objects that are visible will vary as the night sky changes throughout the year, but regardless of the season, you can expect to see a wealth of stars, seasonal constellations and the occasional planet. Along with the tour, we will be sharing Greek myths and stories regarding the constellations, their stars and some fun facts about the cosmos. Guests are encouraged to utilize the telescopes for a closer view, ask questions, take photos and ultimately… have an amazing night under the stars!
We enjoy visiting Anza-Borrego Desert State Park for our tours as there is ample parking, room to spread out and RESTROOMS! This is ideal for small groups of up to 25 people. All ages are welcome! The desert location offers an incredible dark sky and an amazing, unobstructed view of the night sky. The “nearby” town of Borrego Springs is a designated Dark Sky Community.
Another option is if you own an established venue or a piece of property and would like to host an event, we would love to bring the night sky to you!
What is included
- A 2 hour tour of the night sky given by an experienced guide
- Multiple telescopes for viewing objects
- Binoculars for a quick look or to help locate objects
- We employ a laser pointer to help with object location as it’s nice to know where to look!
- An additional tripod for guests to use for photos
